Ada Karakoy Hotel Special Class

We moved here because of our original hotel was a mess. We got a great deal. It was our second time here and did not disappoint. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is friendly. They saved our holiday. Location is great, highly recommended.

We stayed four nights on the last week of May 2025, Shenar at the reception was very professional and friendly, everyone at the hotel was very nice, on the first night right after arriving we took a shower and noticed the shower was draining too slowly, we called the reception and they switched us to another room right away. There was always a bottle of water, tea and instant coffee in the room. The location is very convenient, on a quiet block, close to the Galata Bridge, the Galataport complex with modern shops and restaurants is 10 minutes away, tram stations is a few minutes walk away. Room was quiet with A/C and comfortable bed.

Location was perfect for our holiday which involved a lot of walking to the old town and around Galata, but also included using the trams and boats which are nearby. The price was reasonable for the one-week stay. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. There were some mosquitoes in our room so be wary of opening the windows. The air-conditioning was good. The room itself was nice and simple with a tiny TV. The bathroom was functional however the shower drained very slowly and the sink did not have a soap dish so you end up leaving wet soap on the counter which is not ideal. The door of the room sounds quite thin as you're able to hear clearly anyone in the hall. The bed was very comfortable.
