The location wasn't very good, but the room itself was beautiful. We had a very spacious room with two rooms. We also had a kitchen and TVs that worked. The staff weren't very enthusiastic, in fact they were bashing an american man for not being able to speak vietnamese. It made no sense to me. We enjoyed the pool a lot as well. It had a rooftop view and it also had a sky bar.
Every thing is great except sound insulation. I mean one can hear the flush, brushing gags, switch on off sounds, cough, sneeze... Pretty much everything. Internet could be improved. It was slow and not stable at all. Everything else is great. Staff is really friendly and nice. Very very sweet housekeeping staff. Thanks to all the staff, my stay was great.
I stayed at Adela for almost 2 months (March-May 2025) Even though the place is not perfect, I would stay there again. I met nice people by hanging out at the rooftop pool. Lots of people were working from the café in the lobby. Beds are super comfortable. I loved hanging out at the pool in the evening. There are 2 women working at the reception. Phuong is really nice and speaks good enough English and solved all my issues instantly. The other woman doesn’t speak much English and couldn’t understand what I was trying to tell her, so I waited to speak to Phuong when I needed something and just avoided the other woman. I loved that we could message front desk by whatsapp. Phuong also allowed me to check-in on the same day that I enquired for availability even though I would have to to move rooms multiple times until I could have a long term room. Enquire about the monthly rate directly. The cons: The hotel, as per the reviews, is probably 3 years old. It is not well maintained and lots of the amenities mentioned in the past do no exist anymore : no restaurant, no bar, no gym, no spa. The sauna is only open on weekends and the café consist of the reception lady making you one. All of the rooms I stayed in had water infiltration stains and they didn’t bother to paint over them. I was concerned if it was mold. Also, the walls are super thin and your experience will depend on how loud your neighbours are. My upstairs neighbour was moving the chair all night long and it would wake me up. I could hear what the neighbours were saying inside their room. There are big white particules floating in the pool. They don’t offer any towels for the pool, which means that many guest would flood the staircase and elevator because they didn't bring a towel... The water is not hot enough in the shower even though I put it at maximum. They came to check and told me it was normal... I had to boil water with the kettle when I had a fever to warm me up... All in all, I would stay at Adela again, because after having stayed at many hotels and apartments in Da Nang, I know that everywhere has issues and nowhere is perfect.
