This hotel is not good. Old , not clean,terrible customer service! They don’t understand a word of English! I arrived yesterday and standard room was like prison, small and dark. I requested change because l was so tired and they changed me extra. Breakfast is not buffet or anything good you imagine. They give you a plate with two old tomatoes, 2 thin alike salami, egg and bread that’s all, and tea they don’t ask you even what you wanted!?!! You can find much better hotels for that price in Istanbul.
The service of the hotel was not as expected from a 4-star hotel unfortunately. cleaning is very poor in the rooms and hardly any bathroom cleaning, no proper real detergent used for cleaning the toilet, bathroom, banyo and floors. Glasses and cups are not washed or replaced daily. The AC is very poor and since it is central they turn it off when they want without caring for the quests needs for nice cool air conditioning specially it’s a hot weather and the room is almost filled with spot lights that brings more heat inside. The lighting was not well designed in the room, it feels quite dark on one side and more of light in the bathroom. The servicing for the rooms is unpredictable, we should keep asking for the complimentary water, tea every day as they don’t bring it. The TV screen is blurred and signal is poor, TV is not programmed well for getting a clear good picture or channels. Breakfast is OK but there are no changes every day the same food, and they try to bully guests to sit on the table they chose and not where the guest wants, specially most people likes to sit next to the window. It wasn’t a good experience and I don’t recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing holiday as you will be only wasting your money and time. The receptionists were all cooperative but they can’t solve any of the problems we were addressing as it’s all coming from the head of management which seems to be very unprofessional and poor.
Best thing in this hotel was when we checked out. 4 stars hotel but what we got was 5 stars problems. 1- very weak internet. 2. I think this building was made in the 90’s, very old furniture. 3. Cold water all the time! During the cold weather. 4. Let’s not talk about the breakfast. ( as if we are in the hospital) * no buffet . 5. Open circuits in the toilet. 6. Expensive. 7. Not 4 stars at all ( probably 2 )
