Location is very good on Flinders St, easy to hop on trams on Flinders or Collins Sts. The reception can keep your room before you check in, and can also park your car in their dedicated parking spaces for a fee. Getting up to parking just needs to be done via intercom. Good view of the Yarra River from the room and small balcony. Spacious apartments. Stayed at a two bedroom apartment with a couple of friends and there are two bathrooms so each couple have their own, and the living/dining space is also sufficient. Kitchen is set up for minimal cooking, has microwave, fridge, oven/stove, toaster, kettle. Unsure if there are baking pans though. Water pressure is good and loved the scent of available shampoo, soap and lotion. Bed is nice and firm though found the longer pillows a bit too high even for a side sleeper like myself. The bedroom side windows at the back can get a little bit noisy if cracked open due to other buildings nearby and early morning bin collections, so close it before you sleep if you’re a light sleeper. Overall very good stay. Can recommend to families who need the space or small groups.
Nice and roomy. Good location. Though our room didn’t have good shower. Drain wasn’t draining properly and water was just spraying all over the floor. Bit noisy due to construction close by.
We recently stayed for 8 nights at Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Flinders in Melbourne. While the location is great and staff were generally helpful, we had a terrifying experience with the hotel elevators, which severely affected our stay. Early in the trip, one of the two lifts was shut down. A few days later, the remaining lift broke down as well, and we were told someone was stuck inside. On the 8th day, we ourselves got trapped inside the lift, which suddenly shook and stalled between floors. The emergency button only connected us to the elevator company, who couldn’t help much. After more shaking and a very tense wait, we finally got out when the lift randomly resumed and opened at another floor. It was a traumatic experience. I couldn’t stop shaking and cried when I got back to the room. For the rest of our stay, we took the stairs up to the 14th floor. I later read other reviews and realized this wasn’t an isolated incident — these lifts seem to break down often. We appreciate the porter who helped with our luggage on checkout, but honestly, this experience ruined the end of our trip. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they seriously fix their elevator issues.
