Amazing hotel, with the most comfortable rooms and bedding. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home—whether in the restaurant, at the spa, or at the reception. The spa is stunning, and the facilities are outstanding. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, with plenty of options, including carefully selected and well-prepared vegetarian dishes. All dinners include a buffet of delicious salads, cheese selection and (unlimited and beautiful) desserts. I couldn’t even choose a single highlight because everything is so comfortable, delicious, and beautiful. If I had to, the highlight would be the staff. The location is also amazing, just steps from the lifts. The pools are very nice as well.
I visited during the first week of last snow season. The hotel is in a great location near the town center, with many restaurants and ski gear shops around—super convenient. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff kindly upgraded me. Dinner was excellent, and the spa offered a wide variety of treatments—perfect for relaxing after skiing. The whole experience felt healing and is perfect for solo travelers. Highly recommended!
I booked the day spa here and was blown away. You can spend the whole day here - there's lots to do. The earlier you go the less crowds. I arrived, got a locker and a tote bag plus robe and flip flops (you get to keep the bag and shoes). I started with a 50 minute massage which is included - there are a few options you can choose from - keep in mind you will be asked to tip afterwards. There is fruit and drinks available all day and some snacks in the afternoon at the hotel bar. You have 2 main pools, one is warmer, they each have automatic doors you can swim through to go inside or out. There are also different types of seats or benches in each pool and fun jets. All with great views of the snowy peaks! Then you have the adult only section which is surrounded by a lake - there's another warm pool outside in that section and 3 different saunas. Note you are requested to only wear a towel. Inside you have a large relaxation room (also with an outdoor part) with lots of chairs and even beds to relax in. Then you have the grotto inside - different saunas including a women's only section plus treatment rooms (additional cost) and a hot tob at the bottom. There's also the salt grotto - you need to reserve a time - where you can float and then a salt sauna. You can also use the gym which is also beautiful with actual ponds inside it. So even if you don't stay here, I highly reccommend treating yourself to the day spa here - it was a great treat after a few days of hiking!
