Just returned from a wonderful week at Admiral Grand Hotel. Cannot fault anything. Had a fabulous time and would happily return. A bonus was that the bus to the old town in Dubrovnik was right outside the hotel and only cost €3.70 each way. The journey followed the coast road which is stunning. You can also visit the islands by boat for the day from outside the hotel in the harbour. Fabulous.
Our third visit the the Admiral Grand and we obviously love it. Rooms are good not great, though the views are outstanding. We stock the mini fridge ourselves with no issues. Food is good, and some decent wines for around 30-40€ bottle. Sunbeds are plentiful Downsides - the pool bar food is poor, not reflective of the hotel, why are guests allowed to buy supermarket drinks and walk into dinner with them? The bar is good, but only a dozen or so seats outside with few options. Most nights we walked 50m to the local bars which were great, cheap and provide a great experience The hotel pizzaria is a waste, needs a concession to improve use All said, we will be back!
The pillow and parts of the shower in our room had blood. A.C was not as effective. The buffet had a big selection of food along with a view of the water which gave great vibes. Plenty of stores. I wouldn’t give it a 5 star 4.1 at most. Overall not too bad.
