We had a great stay here. Super flexible and helpful. They were very accommodating to my family of 5. The family room, in a dual key configuration where you could have 2 rooms with a separate door to make the 2 rooms feel like 1 big room worked perfectly. As we were driving in from the alps, the secure parking on-site worked perfectly. Better still, the metro system is 1 minute walk which opens the whole city, including the San Siro if you are here for the football, which we were. Such a convenient stay which was complimented by really warm and welcoming staff and a great fun lobby area for the kids and a delicious breakfast. We’d certainly stay here again.
Nice service, private parking (limited number of spaces). Very interesting artistic decoration of the Hotel. Tasty breakfasts , good coffee. The room we received requires thorough cleaning and refreshing and repairing of furniture.
This hotel has a unique theme for sure, but was I impressed? NO! The room decor looked very cheap. Honestly, I was expecting better decor from a 4-star hotel. As someone in the reviews mentioned that the same event happened in the past, I’m writing it again. Please continue reading. When we checked in, the hotel receptionist wanted to keep our passports to make the entry the next day and asked us to pick up our documents the next morning!! In my adulthood of the last 10 years of traveling around the globe, this information was very hard to digest. Like, how can a hotel authority hold an important document like a passport?? Like, why? When we strictly said no and informed them that we would wait even if it took time, he seemed not very pleased—like a straight rude face🤡. Around 10 minutes later, he gave us our documents. Now, the point is, when we book a 4-star hotel instead of a 2-star and pay double the amount🤑, we expect better service, particularly at midnight when he can see that we have been traveling and need to rest soon. Additionay, When we checked out, they charged us an extra €7/night/person. I have stayed in Milan before in a similar location, and I think the tax was lower. They might be charging customers extra—I might be wrong, though, sorry. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to people. You pay over €150 per night-and in that price range, to be honest, you can get a good hotel anywhere in Europe with better service. This part is personal. Before you read, just want to say, I love Italy, I have read many amazing stories about the culture that makes me to travel this country, this is why I want this country to do better than in its current state. ——>In my opinion, The hospitality sector in Italy, in general, is quite bad, and very very rude—unless you go to a only top-tier place and spend >100 euro in restaurant. It seemed like most working people hate their job and are being forced to work in the hospitality sector. And you can see it in their face. Go to Japan if you want to learn service lol.
