Great place. Elegant and nice style. The receptionists should be friendly though. Breakfast was good. The bed is huge for 2 people, which is nice too.

Apparently "Pay at the hotel", means "Prepay at 15:00 or your booking is cancelled and you are left out on the street". Stolen credit card and phone turned into a worse nightmare, by my former "favourite hotel". Service = 0 and served without a smile, even if you book weeks in advance. Fully booked, sorry and bye. Finding a new hotel and restaurant at 20:30 after a 10 hour drive....Perfect continuant to a horrible week, after I was robbed in Palermo. Been coming at this hotel for many years, during my business trips and when visiting my parents in south Italy. Service took a huge dip 3-4 years ago, when I visited with my girlfriend. Not feeling welcomed anymore, arrogant front desk, with no understanding of welcoming customers who might be tired, or just serving a smile to brighten your day. Feedback, who cares, bright white lights outside the window is perfect for a business hotel. Like the open wifi, which is of no security concern of course. Pool is not open most of the year, it just stands there....useless. Rooms are slowly breaking down and nothing is being done to improve them, which is indeed a sad development for a once fine hotel. Visit for the restaurant if you want, ok mediocre food with good staff, but try to avoid the hotel.

The hotel is located in the outskirts of Bologna. Try to book a taxi yourself, because the hotel tends to call the taxi earlier than your scheduled time & they’ll make you pay a bomb for the waiting fee. The hotel staff did not help with this at all, and they claimed that this is how its usually done. Very disappointing!
