Adrift Hotel

My husband, pup, and I had the most wonderful stay. We've stayed at many pet hotels and this one was the best one we've ever stayed at! Clean rooms, snacks, coffee, and non alcoholic beverages in the lobby, cute common areas on each floor, directly on the beach. I loved that the hotel was right down from the go karts which is basically the start of town so theres really no need to drive anywhere. Our only complaint is there was no way to cool the room off (No ac or fans in room). The saunas were kinda cold and one appeared to be broken, but we managed. No swimming room....pool was full of people chilling in circles lol It didnt feel much like a spa hotel,but whatevs...we stayed for the convenience of having our pup with us!The Pickled Fish had great food and drinks with a view of the sunset. We will definitely be back.

Lipstick on a pig! I was excited to stay at the Adrift for an anniversary weekend with my husband. The website looked like it would be more of a romantic and luxury experience. We were disappointed upon arrival at the rundown condition of the room. The location was nice, staff was relatively friendly. But the room itself left little to be desired. No air conditioning, just a dirty, cheap, box fan. We’re able to cool enough by opening the window. But we’re not able to sleep because of noise from the parking lot below. Even with the window closed, the walls were so thin, you can hear everything! Beat up flooring on only part of the room, the other part was just sealed sub flooring. A lot of damage to the bathroom door. On a positive side. The bed was very comfortable and the proximity to the beach is perfect. The use of the bikes is a nice touch as well.

Our stay here was disappointing to say the least.. No where on their website do they tell you that the east building is a separate motel. The room did not look as pictured, and did not have all the amenities in the picture. Cleanliness/Room: The front of the fridge desperately needs wiped down, we had to kill 3 mosquitoes when we first walked in and they landed on us, and there were multiple large spiderwebs and spiders.. They looked like black widows but we aren’t certain as they would hide every time we tried to kill them. The sheet had holes in it. The TV had fingerprints all over and had clearly fallen off the wall at one point, there were streaks across it and the screen would flash no matter what channel or menu you were on. The remote was also broken. Theres so much unfinished wood and metal in the room that can’t be properly sanitized. Safety: They did not check my ID or CC at check-in, and didn’t ask for vehicle information. We were put on the 1st floor of the motel building, where the door doesn’t have any additional locks. The door is right at the parking lot. The window only has 3 curtain panels instead of 4, and no blind, so it can’t be fully closed. The window also faces the lobby and other parking lot so it’s bright all night long. The middle panel is not black out either. The 20+ uncovered bolts sticking out of the shower wall??? Why?? The room keys never worked but I was able to download the keys to my phone. There’s no heating/cooling unit that works and can be controlled. There was a mini-fridge but it didn’t have a freezer compartment as shown in the photos online. No microwave so we had many leftovers go to waste. Overall it was dirty, outdated, and unsafe. We would never stay here again and can’t believe we spent over $200 a night on this.
