Aeolian Village Beach Resort

Fantastic food, beautifully kept grounds, friendly staff, fast WiFi, excellent A/C in the rooms so you sleep well. We stayed in one of the family bungalows at the top of the hill. There is a few minute walk from the bungalows to the heart of the resort (restaurants, pools) but it was no problem for us. We are independent travelers, not part of an organized holiday (many guests are on a Mark Warner holiday). As such, we booked half board and ordered lunch independently from the pool restaurant- everything was as fresh and delicious as all of the breakfasts and dinners. This was mine and my two children’s first ever time abroad,as a lone parent I felt very nervous…but the hotel was so welcoming and friendly,we have been on numerous holidays to different countries since but this holiday will always be my favourite,local people were so lovely, the beach was stunning and very close to hotel, the hotel and grounds was immaculate, cleaners cleaned the room and changed the sheets daily, gained over half a stone while away and I completely blame the beautiful desserts. We also saw turtles, my children were over the moon to see them Thank you for giving me and my children our favourite holiday, we can’t wait to come back

We keep returning here as we love the holidays: a warm welcome from all the staff - all the reception team, chef George and his in the restaurant including Maria and Angelos, and the housekeeping staff. Tasty meals combined with intensive activities from the hotel and Mark Warner holidays mean we can eat plenty and get fitter at the same time. Cycling around this rural island, sailing and windsurfing in the reliable strong winds. The whole hotel works brilliantly, spacious and well designed smart rooms and friendly bars by the pool and on the beach where you can natter or chill. I love the Oleander flowers in the gardens and watching the baby swifts, colourful beetles, butterfly's and bats flitting over the rooftops in the evening.
