I had a wonderful stay at Aerial Hotel & Spa in Vlorë. The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were great, making for a very relaxing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One particular staff member stood out—he worked in multiple positions, from receptionist to waiter, and his hospitality and service were truly on another level. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he definitely made our stay even better. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant on the top floor offers an amazing view of the sea, making it a perfect spot to start the day. However, I was disappointed to find out that outside of summer, the restaurant is only open for breakfast. It would have been the perfect place for a dinner and a glass of wine at sunset, so it’s a shame that it’s not available year-round. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. The location is not right in the city center, but it’s only a 5-10 minute drive, so it wasn’t an issue. The only downside was an unpleasant smell on the floor where the pool is located, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service, great amenities, and a beautiful setting. If the top-floor restaurant were open year-round, it would be even better!
Firstly staff are great and the restaurant and breakfast are fantastic. Location wasn’t amazing as have to drive to get places but not the hotels fault! Pool is nice! Parking also very good if you have a car. Bedroom is nice and comfortable for sleeping There are few things they need to sort out to make this better. 1) bathroom smells of dirty water 2) spa hot tub is very dirty water and filter clearly not working. Needs good chlorine and ph levels sorted (I know as I have one) 3) sauna smells like old feet, needs cleaning or something 4) ping pong table but no balls…. I wouldn’t normally mention stuff like this but when advertised as a spa hotel I would expect higher standards. It would also be great to add in a steam room at some point.
At the hotel, I encountered rude staff who addressed guests with insults. The rooms were noisy. The so-called sea view is actually blocked by a series of construction sites, so it is not as advertised. The water in the spa jacuzzi was never clean, and the same applied to the pool; the sauna was out of order. The parking area is small and only accessible via a road full of potholes. Despite having requested a receipt, they refused to provide one, so I had to notify the authorities.
