Aerotel Madrid Airport Terminal 4

Stayed here in T4 a night before an early flight in T1 last week. It was a bit hard to find (don't listen to the instructions that say which floor it's on, different elevators are labeled differently -1/0/1/2/etc) -- it's on the same floor as Europcar. Once I found it, it was easy to check in and comfortable. There's one 24 hour restaurant in the airport and the room had a nicely stocked mini bar. I heard a tiny bit of noise, like a low rumble, a few times -- not sure if it was trains or planes, but overall I slept great.

I recently stopped for a night at HelloSky Air Rooms Madrid and, overall, had a pleasant experience. The location is obviously fantastic, and as we were arriving in Madrid late and flying out early the following morning – it was perfect. The service and welcome were very friendly, and once we got the keys to the room, it was all as expected. The rooms are well-sized and offer a comfortable overnight stay. It was all very modern and surprisingly quiet considering you're in an airport. I did find the air conditioning wasn't great, however, and found the room a little bit too warm for my liking. I also thought the price was fairly steep for what was offered – but you are paying for the location, which was fantastic.

I was aware that there are no windows in the room. But whole room shakes every few minutes because of metro trains. AC controller doesn’t work. Door lock doesn’t always work (need to check before leave!) Walls are dirty. Shower has mold and someone’s hair. For that price is unforgivable. I don’t believe people rate this place higher than one star. It is all acceptable for cheap hotel (more for hostel) but not for the most expensive one in the area! They don’t even give you bottle of water (charge €2.50). Go to Ibis or any other hotel for half of the money, you will have better quality, window, free shuttle (or you can afford taxi from saved money) and in some of the hotels even free breakfast. This way one is BAD! Regret this reservation with all my heart. This is the worst ratio price to quality and in my whole life.
