AF Hotel City

I would like to document my experience at the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the beginning, when we arrived, we were given a room that was completely different from the one we had booked on the booking app. We immediately told the people helping us with our luggage that it was not the right room, and we had to go back down to reception. There, they sent us to another room that somewhat resembled what was offered on the app; however, it was still misleading advertising because even the air conditioning did not work. Therefore, we had to change rooms again. In the third room, we settled in, and I left some AirPods along with expensive glasses on the dresser, completely trusting the people the hotel has for cleaning. I decided to relax a bit and go to the pool, spending an hour outside. When I returned and wanted to find my AirPods and glasses, they were no longer there; they had been stolen. The truth is, I was very upset because I have NEVER stolen from anyone in my life, nor have I ever been robbed in a hotel. I immediately went to reception, where the only person who dared to help me was the guy who carried the luggage; no one else did. The GPS of the AirPods showed they were still in the hotel, but no matter how much we searched through our things, they were not found. Four hours later, the GPS started to show movement towards the city of Baku, where they spent the night. The critical point of this situation was when the next day I woke up and realized that the GPS showed the AirPods had returned to the hotel. At that moment, we knew that the person who had taken them worked there. Despite our efforts to find them and my glasses, we couldn't; no one knew anything. The cleaning ladies insulted us, yelled at us, and treated us badly because we went to the police, but the police did nothing either. The hotel did not return a single peso to me nor took responsibility for what happened. I find it disrespectful that these types of hotels continue to operate and provide such poor and disastrous service. We had to go back and bring our fan because the air conditioning in the third room wasn't working either. It has been the worst experience of my life.

Very unprofessional service; there was some damage in our apartment; in the hotel restaurant we waited a long time for service, even the table was not wiped and the napkins were missing. There was very little food at breakfast and all the dishes were wet. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel, at most a 2 star hotel, I would not go back.

Stayed at this hotel Dec 2nd. For a 4 star hotel there were number of issues that made it look more like a 2 star establishment. Many plumbing issues that made our stay extremely difficult although the front desk were made aware of the issue. Staff were poorly trained and unable to address the easiest requests. There were number of basic stuff missing from their rooms that are easily found in most 4 star hotels.The breakfast was rather poorly organized and did not have a good selection of food. No coffee or fruit juices were offered. The overall quality of service, product was not up to a 4 star hotel establishment at all. Won't come back again.
