Sarà was tremendous, she communicated very efficiently and was super kind. The rooms are clean and the location is right next to the train station. Will be staying here again

The staff working there (reception & cleaning) were more than kind and helpful with the check-in and check out. We were even allowed to leave our suitcases there for 6 hours after the checkout so we wouldn't have to drag them through the city. Gabrielle was the person in contact and he provided adequate information always with a smile. What was a pleasant surprise was the amount of food and snacks we were provided for free both in the room and at the breakfast common area. Another pleasant surprise (as a culture lover) was to see that they have kept and incorporated into the room the old balcony doors. New doors have still been installed providing noise cancelling, privacy and safety, but to see that they still kept the original ones to maintain the vintage atmosphere was highly appreciated.

I rarely write negative reviews but this apartment is extremely loud and unpleasant. We stayed in Domus Nikolai for one night. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly - but we didn't have a good sleep there. There are a few rooms at one floor, with very little space between. What’s more, there is something that is supposed to be kitchen located in that corridor. It’s quite unpleasant to prepare food “in between”. Somebody just got a brilliant idea that will clutter kitchen in the 4-5 sqm corridor (and of course safe money at the cost of clients), instead of making one room a decent kitchen and dining area… but it’s not even the worst. Locating kitchen (and noisy equipment such as coffee machine...) literally a one meter from a room is not understandable to me. Also, rooms are very poorly soundproofed so you can hear literally all the sounds from the corridor and neighboring rooms. We were then woken up by neighbours preparing breakfasts at 7:00 (which is normal, but we wanted to sleep longer). How can your guests have a good sleep? Perhaps somebody just doesn’t care and wants to maximise profit. Advise: pay a bit more and get something decent, where you can rest - contrary to this place.
