We loved our stay at La Lanterna Portovenere! Located 5 min walk from the bus stop/taxi stand. The room was spacious and clean, the waterfront view from our balcony was beautiful (view of Palmaria island and the port). The room included a mini-fridge with a tea kettle, choice of teas and cookies. A lovely breakfast was included with the room in the shared area - fresh croissant, eggs, jams... and the owner offered cappucini every morning. The owner and his family were all very welcoming and kind. Our train was badly delayed on our 1st day, and the owner kindly waited for us to arrive at a late hour. We cant thank them enough for their warm welcome.
Nice simple hostel with super friendly host. Walking distance to city bars and diner.
