June 2018. This is at best a 3 star although better than I’ve read on here. Forget all the trappings of 5 & 4 star luxury and you might enjoy your stay. The hotel in general is very clean as was our room. The pools were also crystal clear too. 1 restaurant, food basic, no deserts just limited fruit. Staff the majority seem to be of Indian descent and very few speak a foreign language but their own so any meaningful conversation is simply a waste of time. So I don’t believe they are so much rude but don’t understand or can’t communicate. All inclusive, well no, so very little is inclusive and not great either. The beach is a must and the sea is as warm as warm as I’ve ever experienced for June. And the views of the sunsets from the hotel is simply perfect To conclude: it’s not 5 star but probably 3. Don’t expect the ritz as you will be disappointed. Go half board and go to the restaurant/bar/supermarket 150 meters up the toad and get soft drinks etc and everything will be fine.
Let's start this review with: If this hotel wants to keep 5 stars they need to start think about quality they provide. We were one of first guests at season opening. Hotel was not ready yet for guests. All pools was empty and only next day they started to fill them up with sea water (after one week only one pool was ready for use) so disappointed about this fact. Also fun experience about lunch boxes, better make your own in previous evenings because we had experience that in early morning owner told us that there was some accident over night so they DESTROYED our lunch box (so we get nothing). Hotel have 5 stars but it's fake in our opinion 2 or 3 stars maximum. Also be careful about all inclusive (not all is inclusive in bar) and after 22:00 "all inclusive" options ends for coffee lowers you can get coffee only from 16-18:00.Rooms was clean only you got one shampoo and soap per person they don't add them each day, probably than you need go to reception and ask additional this is not 5 star standard.Food- was quite okay and understandable but as I already mentioned before we were one of first clients so the food offer was very poor.I would like to say big thank to guys who were working at the bar they were nice and always smiling, very friendly but even them Hotel owners changed to other guys less friendly.
Nice clean hotel room maids so nice, the pools needed cleaning, staff not very helpful except the lady with the smiley face on reception. The food was not good when we arrived the hotel had been taken over the service we got was rubbish you would have thought that they would have made an effort. Children running around without supervision and the staff said nothing. Would go back to crete but not to that hotel until improvements were made. And the pictures of the hotel and the room with views and the swimming pool was not the hotel that I stayed in. Is that not fulse advertising???
