If you want a place close to the center of Yerevan it’s best you choose some other hotel that’s closer. It’s easy to get a taxi and drive around but it will upgrade your experience of the city. The area the hotel is at not that good. The staff was very very nice and helpful. Starting from the door man to the reception (who always helped us order a taxi) to the cleaning ladies and the staff operating room service and the buffet. Even tho they don’t speak English 100% communication was good. Breakfast is not that good. Very normal. It has variety but I would have eaten breakfast out for the four days I stayed there. One of the rooms we reserved wasn’t ready upon arrival. Took sometime to get it ready. That gave us a bit of a bad experience. Rooms are clean and luxurious looking. Comfortable and the cleaning service was good. But it could have been better. We ordered chicken soup and bbq meat; the chicken soup was really good but the bbq was below average. The meat chewed. It was big chunks. Was not enjoyable and relatively expensive considering food in Yerevan and other good places. We knew that it was a girls that they hosted weddings in. But above our room (4th floor) there was a very loud party. It lasted until 23:00 at night. We had a long day the day after it was bothersome to have to endure that at a hotel. Not sure how the ac works at in the rooms honestly. It chose its own temperature that was very very irritating. But putting the fan on low fixes it. One last thing; we called room service to check some things in the room twice and they didn’t come. Would I book the hotel again? I don’t think I would. Not a good experience of food and location. I would rate it a 3 star hotel def not a 5.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Hotel exterior and interior is nice and clean. Reception desk staff is good. We are 2 families who stayed in this hotel in different rooms next to each other. So the bellhop dropped luggage first in other room and took the tips and again he was expecting same from me and was not leaving, I have to tell him to leave. This happened on 14th Feb afternoon. Regarding the breakfast I was really upset to see the arrangement of food without labeling any of them. It became lil difficult to communicate with the staff to know which one is halal and which one is not. Even the salad was mixed with pork. They are suppose to specify it. Being 5 star the breakfast area is very small situated in the basement of hotel without any beautiful view😒. Room cleaning service is very poor, I found the same dirt lying on the bed rest of the three days. Bathroom door lock was broken. I found something fishy on the wardrobe middle mirror door. Some kind of pen light was flashing every 10 minutes. This I noticed on 18th Feb midnight.
We stood at this hotel for a week. It was bad experience from the beginning until the end. And I just dont understand how it can be 5*. We let hotel know about sooner arrival, and nothing was ready. Staff was not professional and barely speak English. Rooms are nice and clean, but hotel has the best years gone. Wifi at our room didn’t work ( response was u can come to reception, wifi works here ). Food and staff is the main thing why we would never stay at this hotel again. There is same food for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast has no eggs, but pasta and meat from dinner, selection of food is tragic. If the tray with food finish they dont care about bringing more. If u expect 5* you should find different place.
