We stayed for 4 nights and found everything to our liking. The room was large & spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, great view over the castle, WiFi good. There was an excellent choice of food in the dining room, we had booked half board & enjoyed every meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at the Agora hotel again & also recommend it to our family & friends!
Very bad and slow service. Definitely not 4 stars, as it looked dated in parts and room equipment was of poor quality. Pool was very small for amount of guests and you get a general feeling of greed, as the hotel tries to charge everything they can (extra room towel is 3€ i.e.) Only upside was the location, but I wouldn’t return
Hotel is ok, but the service and treat of the person what I think is in charge of the restaurant was really awful and rude. As we are staying in one of their suits you have the possibility to request Kitchen-ware. So I asked for some things the first day but they missed a few things and that isn’t any problem for me, mistakes can be made, therefore the third day I asked for the missing things and I met the girl in charge of the hotel restaurant sitting on a chair watching her phone, so I said hello and asked if I could get some kitchen-wear, she answered very rude “but weren’t you already here asking for kitchen-wear last week already?” I replied yes but some things were missing, she looked bothered and stood up and walked towards me and took a pen and paper and sighs while she started to write down what I was requesting. I also asked for a large knife (to cut watermelon to the kids) which she seemed to be a stupid questions since she sky’d her eyes and said very bothered “we can only offer you the knife you can see here in the restaurant” I work with client experience and been in the area for a long time, this behavior is not okay and changed our total experience of our stay. A serious hotel with professionals doesn’t treat their clients like this. I really hope you do something about that person that really made us change our view on Agora.
