The room had a very strong and unpleasant smell from the moment I arrived — possibly mold — and it completely ruined the experience. It was overwhelming and constant, making it hard to relax or sleep. The room was filled with old decorative items that seemed to hold both the smell and dust. I have a dust allergy, and each time I entered the room, I had a runny nose. The lack of sunlight probably made things worse, creating a damp and musty atmosphere. On a positive note, the breakfast was good and the yard was peaceful and well-maintained. The property has charm, but unfortunately, the condition of the room made the stay very uncomfortable.
I really try not to leave negative reviews but my experience here was so terrible I feel I have to warn others away. I booked two rooms here several months in advance, directly through their website. I received a confirmation. I emailed them several times about the reservation and they never responded, which was concerning and frustrating, but they did respond to a friend’s email to confirm a baby cot. However, when we all showed up they didn’t have any of our bookings — despite confirmation emails, and despite emailing our friends back about the baby cot. It was just bizarre and left us scrambling to find last minute accommodations. I’m confused as to how their own website and email (listed on the website) simply don’t work? But they don’t. So it’s not worth booking a place that apparently doesn’t have a working booking system.
- very difficult not nice communication, gave stress and took away fun from our holiday. -it’s no airbnb, it’s a hotel but nobody is there the whole day. And when you ask for a childrens bed, they counted 40euro. Which on booking.com was written as included - said breakfast was included for all the rooms on chat on bookng.com, when we arrived she said there was no breakfast whatsoever -can’t drink the tapwater - threatened us that she didn’t want to help us the last day “before we paid the little toruist tax that was left”. Who says that on someone’s holiday??? We were really friendly and did everything as asked, then why would you threaten your clients - nothing around the area -too expensive for what it is
