Agua Hotels Riverside

A holiday for leisurely bird watching from the room. Brought the telescope set it on veranda and relaxed watching little egrets, cattle egret with horses, grey hero's, 2 dozen storks, house and sand Martins by the bucket load with the occasional little owl, hoopoe, ibetian and normal magpies, incessant noisy sparrows. Fish, fiddler crabs, fish and crabs in the water at high tide, fiddlers at low tide kicking their balls of mud. Oh the hotel was ok too, though some breakfast things could ge better eg bacon and hams were reconstitute, sausages lacked taste but maybe that was me post covid.

Hi folks can I thank each and every one of the staff at Água Hotel Riverside. Especially the house keeping who some people may forget to give a mention when leaving a review. My Family and I would really like to thank you all so much for the fantastic experience we had at the hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt really welcome. The staff on any occasion we spoke to them made us feel so welcome and it was like talking to old friends nothing was a problem. We enjoyed the breakfast and lunches, and the infinity pool was amazing. The Hotel was so quiet and relaxing but with 1 big problem sadly we had to leave, we only booked a week long holiday, but won't make that mistake again when we return😁. When at the hotel we only had a 3 min walk to the nearest bus stop or you had the option of the train about 8- 10 mins walk. If you needed to get something etc grocery there was a store 1 min away or there was an Aldi,Lidl or Continente store option 10 min walk away. It's a credit to the owner and especially all the staff. There was 1 thing I thought that was really special we had to depart early for our connection to the airport at the guy at reception handed me a bag saying its breakfast, this was 3.10am and he mentioned that the manager knew we were going early and left breakfast for us, what a beautiful kind touch ❤️So if anyone travelling to Parchal in search of peace and tranquility you will not go wrong here. Relaxing peaceful Great Riverside views Breakfast excellent Rooms are very clean and comfortable Grounds are very tidy Location near to bus stop & Station, lidl. Victor, the manager, is excellent a credit to the hotel. Many thanks for your hospitality. Reception staff were helpful, especially Roberto, Definitely will stay again. Maravilhoso.
