Had a wonderful time staying with Susie and Rock in this cosy historic pub while doing our honeymoon road trip. A lovely and hospitable couple who made us feel at home, shared a drink with us and had breakfast and coffee in the morning. Classic kiwi hospitality, highly recommend!!
Yes it's far from the main town, but you will get to experience the difference. Great locals, big portions of food. The bar was great value.
We stopped in for a coffee and a bite to eat. New Zealanders are famously friendly but the team here are the friendliest of all and made us feel right at home.
