Ahc Old City Hotel

Excellent location. The hotel has everything you could need, would it be a business trip or holiday. Nice pool for a swim on the upper floor with a panoramic view. Night club with excellent music, great shisha, cocktail, and food selection. And I must mention: the stunning night skyline of Istambul Breakfast was nice. Great surprise was a Steinway and Sons piano in the breakfast hall. Great view to the harbor and relaxing quality piano music - the way to start your day. And last but not least: wonderful and polite staff. This hotel is worth a strong 5 stars 👌

I visited Café Zurich in June 2023. The view and food presentation were beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxing. However, I was very surprised by the prices on the bill. • A simple soup cost 225 TL • A canned drink was 120 TL • Grilled meat dishes were 1000 TL or more As a visitor, I expected fair tourist prices, but these were far above average — even in a hotel restaurant. The food was decent, but the pricing felt excessive. I hope management reviews this for future guests. 🧾 I’ve attached a photo of my meal and the bill for reference. 📍Nice place, but be cautious of the prices.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING: Don't waste your hard earn money with low quality experience ⚠️⚠️⚠️ 1️⃣ The AC was old and filled with dust. That's why it was not working fully. I had difficulty to fall asleep due to heat and became sick due to dirty air circulating in the room. 2️⃣Since we arrived to the room, there has been an extremely bad smell in the bathroom, coming from sewage. Although we have asked them to fix it couple of times, nothing changed. They told us that they can't change our room because there is no three person room in the hotel. So, we had to live in that room for 10 days because we paid in advance. They didn't compensate us for our bad experience. We should have listened previous customer's suggestion to book another hotel. 3️⃣ Breakfast had a good variety and the restaurant was on the roof, so only good part of the hotel was the breakfast. 🚨🔔‼️‼️ Overall, please do not waste your hard earn money on this hotel and book another hotel for your vacation so that you enjoy your vacation.
