We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place is clearly managed with care. The cabins are a bit old but cozy and clean, and the bedding was fresh. Unfortunately, we chose cabin 8, which was not ideal. It had no direct access to the water, so we had to walk to the shared beach. There was also a playground right next to our cabin, and children started playing early in the morning, which made it hard to relax. The road is visible from the cabins and the beach, which takes away from the peaceful lake setting. However, the beach itself was nice. The water was clean and the lake bottom was very comfortable for swimming. Inside the cabin, the doors creaked and the taps didn’t work well. The water pressure was inconsistent. If you book a cabin closer to the lake and farther from the playground, it could be a really nice place to stay.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The house at this resort is severely worn out and clearly in need of major maintenance and upgrades. For the premium price being charged, the overall condition and amenities were far below expectations. To start, the property does not look like the photos — it was a letdown the moment we arrived. The kitchen was poorly stocked — many essential items were missing, and what was available (particularly the pots and pans) were dirty and in unusable condition. The coffee maker looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the fridge wasn’t even working during our stay. There is no bathtub, and for this price point, a proper soaking tub or jacuzzi — as commonly offered in other resorts — should be standard. Unfortunately, the restroom had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to use comfortably, and the main door was broken and didn’t close properly, raising safety concerns. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. This property is overpriced and not worth the cost. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
Posting this as feedback in hopes it helps improve things. I tried booking a cottage at Ahmic Resort, but unfortunately had a tough time getting in touch with Eva. After a week of calls and emails, I finally managed to connect, but her communication didn’t feel very attentive and rude at times. It was disappointing, since the resort itself looks beautiful and I was really looking forward to visiting. Hopefully the booking process can be made smoother, because first impressions do matter.
