Aiden by Best Western Clermont Ferrand Hotel & Spa

We stayed one night with two rooms and appreciated being placed in an area that made it easy to stay connected without being in each other’s space. I had planned to use the spa but ran out of time. All the staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was good, I've had better, I've had worse! The rooms were nicely decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was great. We parked the car at the hotel and we took advantage of the trams, that were free on the weekend.

Tremendous hotel. The hotel was able to accommodate a last minute booking for two weeks and I was greatly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the service, the amenities, the quality of the rooms, furniture, fixtures, and bedding were all superb. Room was extremely large and exceeded all expectations on size (Junior Suite). Water bottles on site, daily housekeeping, and the on site bar were great assets! While the location is not near the city centre, it is a short walk. The quietness of the area was greatly appreciated and it’s very close to the Tram if needed. I will stay at this hotel anytime I visit going forward!

We stayed just one night on our way to the Atlantic coast. The pool is adults-only, and even then, it needs to be booked in advance and comes with an extra charge. Given the 4-star rating, I expected a better breakfast selection – there was almost no fresh vegetables, the eggs were probably made from powder, and the coffee wasn’t good either. We did pay extra for an à la carte dinner, which was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were friendly, but their English was very limited. There’s also a small fitness room, which we used, though it’s quite basic. The rooms themselves were nothing special. Nice atmosphere in the lobby and kind people overall, but I wouldn’t rate it as a true 4-star experience.
