I had a fantastic experience at Aiden Hotel in Guyana. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and everything was well-maintained. The food was another highlight — delicious, fresh, and with great variety. I always looked forward to my meals! I also appreciated how safe and secure the environment felt, which made my stay even more relaxing. Highly recommend Aiden Hotel for anyone visiting Guyana. I’ll definitely be back!
Visited Mosaic Executive Restaurant with the family to celebrate our Mom’s 67th birthday. We were a group of 11 honestly, we’re not the easiest group to handle. But everything turned out amazing! The service was top notch. Our server was super friendly and helping he gave us excellent suggestions for starters, mains, and dessert everything was absolutely delicious.Huge shout out to the chef and team for the delicious food, also the champagne recommendation perfectly matched the vibe. Our mom had a beautiful evening, and the rest of us did too. Big thanks to server Amien for taking such great care of us! Totally recommending this place to everyone.
Hotel: Aiden by Best Western – Guyana I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I originally booked a room with two beds, as I was traveling with another person. However, I received an email just before my arrival stating they had "upgraded" me to a room with a king bed. I immediately called to insist I needed the two beds I originally booked. Despite this, when I arrived at 1:00 AM, they only had a king bed available. We finally went to sleep at 2:00 AM, only to be woken up at 7:00 AM with a call saying they now had the correct room. I didn’t answer the first call, but they called again at 7:30. I explained we were tired and would switch rooms after breakfast. Despite this, hotel staff knocked on our door again at 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, insisting we vacate the room immediately. We were forced to pack and move rooms in a rush. To make things worse, when we arrived at the restaurant at 9:35 AM, they told us breakfast ended at 9:30—even though we had been dealing with the room change. The manager gave us cold takeout breakfast (eggs, pancakes, coffee), which we had to eat in our room. Later, we asked the hotel to call us a taxi to visit clients. I was shocked to find out the hotel adds a 10% fee to the taxi fare. I travel extensively, and I’ve never had a hotel charge guests an additional fee for simply calling a taxi. Worse, we couldn’t pay the taxi driver directly. The hotel insisted on taking the payment, then added their cut. The next day, we needed the same taxi service again, this time to the airport, and once again were charged the 10% fee. When I expressed how unacceptable this was and I was going to put a review with google I was told they'd offer me a free night for my next stay. I told them I won’t be returning, and what they should’ve done instead is remove the 10% charge as a courtesy. Overall, poor service, lack of respect for guests' time, and hidden fees left a bad impression. I do not recommend this hotel. Be aware they will charge you for everything.
