Aiden by Best Western Paris Roissy CDG

I think the experience has improved dramatically since the 2010s. The hotel has a funky bohemian theme and asks guests to join the madness. It reminds me of a 70's hotel in Vegas but with 21st century amenities. Tap water is as good as bottled. We stayed one night before leaving France. The location is quiet and the decor is decided bohemian. Rooms are clean but carpets could use a wash. The 70s style outside carpets are trippy. Buses from CDG to this location are often late and not worth the aggravation. Don't take the shuttle, it's a rip off. Uber is 1/3 cheaper and delivers you to the terminal of choice. Staff is chill, and the restaurant is delicious. The local boulangerie across from the park is average.

I ended up canceling my trip a month in advance due to a broken foot and surgery. The hotel wouldn’t issue a credit for the cost of the room. I understand not wanting to refund to my credit card but not even having flexibility to provide a credit when someone can’t travel is terrible service.

Rooms were extremely small and cramped, no space to walk or open your luggage even! AC wasn’t working, even after multiple complaints. There was no solution provided by the hotel. Breakfast is average. Very far away from the actual city. Overall, it’s a transit motel and not a 4 star hotel as advertised.
