Great hotel, great location, the spa was amazing, we got a junior suite, not that we used the seating area but it was good value with breakfast and spa access included. The spa was amazing, we had relaxing massages €36 for 30 minutes plus the two hours of spa access meant that we arrived at our dinner at cuatro hojas next door (which was also out of this world) very relaxed and happy and had a great sleep. Shame that the square was under construction, but I'm not sure we can blame the hotel for that.
Me and a friend stayed here for their birthday weekend and I can honestly say I have never stayed in a room so lovely! We were both absolutle blown away by how amazing it is! On top of that we had booked in for a Spa experience on the Saturday and whilst the experience was absolutely amazing, some loud customers detracted from the experience. I went to reception to complain and they were extremely helpful. 5/5 stars overall because the hotel is lovely, the staff are very attentive and the location is right in the centre of Almeria and very easy to explore the city from.
Wrongfully charged 360 Euros by this Hotel My partner and I stayed at this hotel in May - we have 3 major concerns. First, we were not advised about the surrounding construction and provided guidance to get to the hotel. With the detours it was impossible to drive directly to the hotel. After three tries to get there, following google maps, we finally asked the construction people who advised us to go the wrong way up the one way to get to the hotel. This was a bit disconcerting. Next, our room was quite tiny with the sink in the bedroom area away from the enclosed toilet and shower. We found this a bit odd. These issues were all taken in stride. However, and more importantly is our third concern. A day after our check out, we were dismayed to receive an email advising us that they had charged to our visa approximately 360 euros for a TV that they claimed we broke. The email was sent several hours after our departure, with a picture that only showed the TV and no detail to verify that it was in the same room that we stayed. We raised our concerns with the hotel and told them we did not break it - several times - all to no avail. The wrongful charge remains on our visa. We are both seniors and certainly did not break the TV. We are being wrongfully charged for something we did not do. Be forewarned.
