I booked a room at Airlies Historical Guesthouse in Montagu with the intentions of having a relaxing and well experienced weekend away. The guest house exceeded my expectations and I truly enjoyed my time there. The staff were extremely friendly and well educated on the surroundings, giving guidance the the top wine farms in the surrounding area, must do actives and must see attractions etc. The facilities were beautifully persevered, clean and gave an honest aura of life in the early 1900's. Most definitely a 10/10 from me. To the Airlies staff and owners, your service and hospitality is one like no other. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
What an experience staying in this house. Old, vintage touches put you right back in the early 1900's. Well looked after building and the interior has been beautifully upgraded and restored. The staff are very friendly and make sure you feel at home. This is a must-stay no question about it.
great service. very exclusive, including the breakfast. internet was very slow. hotel is situated in the center, lots of good restaurants nearby. right next door there’s restaurant mystic, worth a try. definitely worth staying at this hotel.
