Airport Ascot Motel

Had a lovely stay at airport Ascot motel, comfortable, clean, within walking distance to cafes, small supermarkets, the ferry. While not huge rooms, they have everything you need and plenty of space for bags and belongings without feeling too crowded I do have to say highlight the cleaning and bring my review around to this. It was exceptional, absolutely done to perfection. Our room from entry was so tidy, I have stayed in motels all over the country and I have to say I have never seen cleaning done to this high standard, we didn't expect our room to be cleaned on the second day but it was and they did it so good. My daughter (5yrs old) said mum the fairy's must have cleaned out room and that's literally what it seemed like everything was clean, beds made, like magic so to the airport Ascot motel owners your cleaners deserve the highest praise they are extremely good at what they are doing. Next time I come to Brisbane, I will definitely stay here again, and I'll 100% recommend this motel.

Great location just 20min from the airport. City Cat wharf in easy walk/wheelchair ride. Wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Terrible, booked 2 nights but left after one. The room was dirty, multiple long hairs in the bed, a previous guests deodorant and other things left behind, carpet 20 years past it’s used by and a mattress and pillows that were no better. The lights in the room flicker like strobes every 10 mins and if the shoddy mattress and pillows were going to let me get any sleep then the brightest green light on the smoke detector giving the room a constant green glow certainly put a stop to that. Despite checking in at a peak time (2pm) reception was closed, was also closed when I left the next day. If you need to stay around here for the proximity to the airport, save yourself and try one of the other motels on the road.
