Been visiting here for many years, typically for business trips. I was in a room that looked like it had been refurbished. Even so, the overall feel of the place feels more 1999 than 2025. That said, breakfast was good and it’s handy being so close to the airport terminal.
We had an overnight stay at Frankfurt and tried this hotel. We booked through Booking.com When we arrived the receptionist told us that we booked 1 room, that was not correct so she fixed it and got 2 rooms for 4 of us. One of the room smelled. Was like smell of sweat in there. When switched on AC it got better. The rooms are old style, our bed was making noise with every move. The advantage of the place is that it’s kind of reasonably priced and not too far from the airport cca 15 min drive. More or less that’s it. Ok option if you are tightening budget and need overnight stay at Frankfurt.
The name of the hotel is a bit misleading. Marriott is a Frankfurt Airport hotel, this is not. I tried to cancel this hotel because when I went to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel I found it was not 10 minutes from the airport but I had difficulty getting a refund in time. Luckily I screenshot everything before I pay for anything. As you can see from my screenshot before I made my purchase this hotel stated it was fully refundable. I arrived a day earlier than my spouse I took a bus to the hotel. I requested the front desk to arrange a taxi to pick my husband from the airport. When I asked the older male receptionist to call the taxi to pick up my spouse from the airport he said he has to charge from the hotel to the airport and back and it would be 70 euros. However the taxi is supposedly 30 euros from the airport, even that is too much. I recommend it is better to take the S8 train or bus72 from the Airport to Raunheim than use the taxi service from the hotel. The taxi at the train station only charges me 7 euros to get to the hotel the next times I walked because it’s only a 13 min walk. The rooms are decent however there is no food or restaurant. Thankfully the front desk offered Apples at the counter. The front desk staff are friendly, cool gym and comfortable rooms are the reason I gave a few stars. I had to take my old towels down to get new towels and put my trash outside because no one came to clean my room for four days.
