This hotel provided us with a great family stay for two nights; everything was perfect. Keep up the great work!
I'll begin with the bright side, because it's easy to cover. The hotel obviously had a good designer; it has an interesting visual code, and many interesting solutions. The breakfast (and the restaurant and its staff) was also very good. However, the execution is poor, even discounting for the service levels expected in the region. First, be ready to spend half an hour on check-in, even in a no-queue scenario. You fill in an infinite form reaching dog allergy of your grand-grand-mother (hello, Datenschutz), and then you are eligible to an ingenious two-step parking solution, where you unload things on a short-term parking, then do check-in, then hurry to repair, as you only have 30 minutes free parking before you proceed to your permanent paid parking. The hotel positions itself as child-friendly, however, you quickly discover that the sauna is limited to 14+. The personnel will rush to inform you about that. But when I slipped on the slippery edge of the pool, nobody was there to help. The reverse edge of the pool is very controversial: definitely looks good, but dangerous. The rooms look cool, but no kettle, and no fridge. The reception has told me that if I want to keep things in a fridge, it's an extra cost. All in all, if you compare the overall cost to the competition, you find better options. As I started, the hotel has potential, but I won't consider it as it is for future stays.
I have been to this hotel for the first and last time. The hotel wants to save costs as much as possible but maximise revenue. 1. This is the first time I have ever seen a room cleaned not every day. We checked in on Friday, the booking was for 2 nights. On Saturday nobody came to clean. I came to the reception to ask why, I was told that the cleaning is but every day, which means cleaning when we check out of the hotel. 2. it is not written anywhere, but you should know that in the room there is no air conditioning, no kettle, no fridge, no slippers. 3- The hotel is absolutely not adapted for children, although they position themselves otherwise. The children's pool has cheap slippery tiles. All m children fell down. Administration, did you not plan to put on the floor of better quality tiles? Or are you waiting for a serious incident to happen? 4. The most important thing (cherry on the cake) . Neither on the official website of the hotel, nor anywhere else it is not written, in the sauna area is not allowed with children under 16 years old. This news you will find out inside the sauna! The spa hotel does not warn about this !!! I came alone with a 2 year old child, I am pregnant, so I can only go to the hamam. And only when I went in there to me came running employee and started shouting that with children here is not allowed. Why do not they warn about this when you pay for the room at the reception? Firstly, there is no information anywhere. Secondly, the staff at reception knew that I was alone with a child, why didn't they warn me about it? It turns out that I paid money for the spa hotel, but I was not allowed to visit the spa. I will never come here again and would never recommend to anyone who likes to come to Bad Zarow. Terrible service for this money.
