AJA Fürstenhaus am Achensee is a fantastic family-friendly hotel with stunning lake views. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable. Service is friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with kids in a beautiful alpine setting. Highly recommend for families and lake lovers.

Lovely, upmarket hotel with spacious room and gorgeous view of the lake. Food was good. Our room was located above the spa and outdoor pool so it was very noisy, which somewhat spoiled our stay. Also there was only one staff member on duty at checkout time and a long wait.

★★★☆☆ Jul 2025

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (10th to 13th Jul 2025) and, overall, had a great experience. The location is ideal, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast service was also quite good, especially for a 4-star hotel. However, I wanted to bring up an incident that happened a day before my check-out. I approached a lady at the reception to ask for a one-hour late check-out since I was traveling with 5 family members, including four kids, and packing up takes a bit more time. Her response was surprisingly rude and dismissive. When I tried to explain why I needed the extra hour, she got loud and accused me of arguing. To avoid any further conflict, I just smiled and walked away. I get that sometimes the hotel might be fully booked and can't accommodate such requests, but the receptionist's attitude was really uncalled for. It was a simple request, and I feel that guests should always be treated with courtesy and respect. Despite this, I don't want to judge the entire hotel based on one person's behavior. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the efforts of the rest of the staff. I hope the management can address this issue to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for all guests.
