My husband, 2.5 y/o daughter and I stayed for 3 nights due to a hospital visit at CHOP. We were very pleased with our stay. We splurged a bit to stay in a 1 bedroom suite with a den and it was so nice to be able to spread out. The unit was clean, had a wonderful view and was mostly quiet. We were able to dine at the walnut cafe, swim in the pool (water was a little chilly, but the air was warm). We felt very safe and well taken care of (pack n play quickly delivered to our room, requests taken care of and recommendations given). Overall we would absolutely return.
First time I stayed I had a room with a weird layout. Nice to have a full kitchen and the excellent views. Light switches are a bit hard to find and I ended up unplugging them instead. Bed is low to the ground but comfortable enough for a couple of nights stay. My second stay I had a larger (accessible) room. The shower head is so high, that I cannot reach it to adjust the spray direction. A couple of the hand towels and dark stains on them. The thermostat can be set to adjust temperature, but the fan is so loud it sounds like a freight train constantly running. The whole building feels uncared for and un-maintained. The elevator smelled distinctly of trash during my last visit. Location is great and the views are lovely. Rooms could use some different blinds/curtains. Garage parking is convenient (not included or associated with hotel).
Quit playing dumb about the room keys not working and fix the problem. First ride in the elevator, another guest warned us it was an escape room. We — and everyone else we encountered — had this problem the whole visit, being trapped in the elevator, the key not working, the elevator not responding, unable to get out. The key works for the room but not for the gym. There is no water in the gym. Rooms: update the descriptions. One bedroom with a den does not sleep three when neither small sofa pulls out and you don’t provide a set of sheets. You need black out blinds, and lights that will turn off short of being unplugged. This is not the upscale apartment experience we paid for. I would not stay here again.
