We had a wonderful visit. The accommodation is world class with attention to every detail possible. The food was simply fantastic.The staff went the extra mile and so friendly. The golf course is challenging but enjoyable. To sum it all up....we will be back again!🏆🥂

What an amazing place. Thank you so much to everyone who made our stay at Akabeko so damn lekker. Special thanks to AJ, Thabo and the chefs Walter and Bobby. It was so nice to have such friendly faces around us. JP and Monya were very kind and welcoming and always up for a chat. The food was DELICOUS. The first night we had lamb shank and beef fillet. The breakfast the next morning was great. I had the fritatta and my husband had the smoked trout (breakfast is included). For lunch I had a very yummy chicken and mushroom pasta and my husband had smoked trout again, which he loves. And for dinner the second night we both had oxtail. MOUTHWATERING. I had the butternut soup as a starter. How damn delicious! We went for an amazing 11 km hike this morning to the waterfall. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay so much. It's rare to come across a place that has many friendly faces and makes you feel welcome. We are very thankful for everyone that made our stay so enjoyable. We played a nice round of golf as well. The course is not the easiest of all, but if you want to challenge yourself you have to give it a go. Next time we will definitely try out the spa. We did so much that we didn't have time to try it out. The rooms are very big and very neat. We are not coffee drinkers but for the ones that are, there's a nice machine with coffee pods that you will enjoy. There's tea and sugar available and water in the fridge. The things we enjoyed the most about the rooms were the MASSIVE bathtub and the sound system in the room. The system goes throughout the whole room and bathroom. You can choose to shower inside the bathroom (very very big shower) or outside. We made use of the massive bathtub, the outside shower and the inside shower. All 3 experiences were fantastic. This is a place where you can find peace and relax wherever you are on the property.

Thabo was a great host- I also loved how they were able to accommodate us when we were late for dinner and breakfast. Food was amazing.
