Akalia Resort Hotel & Spa

Location is perfect.And very close to center.Really the hotel is a very nice and compact hotel. The hotel has been renovated and the owner has changed. This can be really felt from the hotel's rooms, the poolside and the restaurant. The food is very delicious, I especially recommend the desserts. I stayed for 10 days. We had a really good time with my wife. I would like to thank especially Ahmet Bey, the front office manager. I will definitely come next year.

This place should be shut down immediately! It's a shame for the whole hotel industry! They put us in a mouldy room. The smell was horrible. The receptionist said we could change the room the next day because there weren't any other rooms available atm (turned out we were lucky - there were people spending the night in the lobby because didn't get ANY room). The next day a different receptionist said he knew nothing about our planned room change. We had to argue with him for a while until he gave up. Apart from that no hot water, no free internet, occasionally no beer, boring food, no spa, no nothing. Stay away!

HORROR! The hotel looks very nice from the outside, but the room is very small (I don't think I've lived in such a small room) and quite dirty. In the bathroom, all devices have a malfunction. On the balcony you hit the air conditioner. In the room two people cannot pass each other. The cabinet has no shelves and no support. The TV has only two channels in German. The mattress on the bed was broken. The breakfast is ok, but the restaurant is not very clean. Distance of about 2 km to a messy private beach. There is a minibus. Overall, avoid!
