Akara Hotel Pattaya

Modern and luxurious hotel with a wide range of services. Rooms are complete with all necessary amenities and with super convenient room automation from the nightstand. I really appreciated the modern look of all venues and spaces, that were modern and not kitsch. Breakfast was quite extensive, but warm courses were often not warm and i would have liked a more complete selection of sweet dishes. The staff was very friendly and courteous, always carrying out requests in short time. Overall a very pleasant stay and would come back again.

7/10 The staff make this hotel really good! *** BUT There is a nightclub with VERY LOUD music right next to the hotel! I'm not kidding 🫣🤮 so be aware of this. It seems to stop anywhere between 930pm-11pm *** - 1st night here the room looks good, the view is fantastic and the staff are super helpful. *** However there's a nightclub right next to the hotel! It's amazing a hotel spends probably 100 million dollars or more to build , but it will go out of business because of a very tiny club with speakers facing the hotel *** I'm on the 23rd floor so it's a great view, but all night it's "music" vibrating the windows and floor" (doof doof doof) - I bought ear plugs which is INSANE given I paid extra for a large room to make sure there's no walls near the bed to ELIMINATE noises 🫣 The hotel owners need to sort that out or they will lose a lot of money on an expensive building no one wants to sleep in because they can't sleep! I'm guessing this is fairly new as not too many comments about it YET 😮‍💨😔 It's NOT the hotels fault in any way but, it's just too much noise! * On the plus side: 1. A PROPER king bed, not this 2 singles with a topper so many hotels do. So excellent bed 🛌👍 2. Staff are great, I had a wifi issue and within 10 minutes had tech staff in the room to assist and fixed it. 👥🤗 3. They have carpet in the hallways so this limits noise between rooms and doors opening and closing. I don't understand why other Pattaya hotels don't do this so really great plus there. I really helps noise levels! 🏨👍 * The bad side: 1. Night club right next door loud music. But has been stopping earlier lately 🫣 2. Entrance for cars is really bad 🚗🚕 3. Overpriced room service but quite good food , and well presented. 💰🥣 4. It will deteriorate quickly. It's a new building at the moment, but you can easily see some parts are built very poorly so will be broken or not work properly in a few years. Ie. The door to the room is already falling off its hinge and won't fully open and clunks because of the cheap door hinges. -There's plenty of other things too like tv cabinet getting stuck on itself because it's poorly built. But it will be a few years before it becomes a real problem or fall below that 5 star base expectation - I noticed a few other comments have had issues with build quality (drains not flowing in showers, air-conditioning that you can't turn off etc) so it's not a quality built hotel sadly, but it looks pretty! 🏨😔

The first time I stayed in a standard room without a bathtub, Space Hotel view. At that time, the view was very good. I opened the curtain at the end of the bed and saw the sea at the end, but it was still beautiful. This time I came back to use the service but upgraded my stay, chose a better room with a bathtub and chose a sea view. But what I got was as in the picture. But the service was still good as usual, clean.
