Of all the places we have stayed in New Zealand this will always remain one of our favorites. We had a wonderful cottage that had a beautiful lookout over the Akaroa Bay. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Full kitchen, jacuzzi bathtub, robes and a comfortable bed. The patio with the view was the best of all. We didn't want to leave and cannot wait to come back.

Stayed first 2 nights of our honeymoon on the seaside view. The photos dont do the place justice, especially at dawn when the lights of the town are still on, simply breathtaking. The place was just the right size with a bedroom and a living area with a small fully equipped kitchenette. Tea coffee and milk were restocked daily. Furnishing were very comfortable. Staff was friendly especially since we had a late night check in, we felt very welcome straight away. The heater in the room did malfunction on the second night, but this was not an issue as we made good use of the fireplace with the provided firewood and the 2 heater that was also provided. If i was ever going back to Akoroa, this would definately be on my revisit list

Standalone cabin was nice, a little dated inside but clean and comfortable. Log burner was great, grounds were really well kept. This place would have scored higher but has one big problem... its advertised as being a 15 minute walk to the village however this is down a country road with no pathway too dangerous to walk at night. Staff did give us a lift but had to leave the pub before 10.
