The extra $30/40 dollars for the Water View room was well worth it. The rooms are about 4-5 meters from the sea. The spa and massage service was also worthwhile. Although the complex is older the rooms have been freshened up recently and they look really good. The standard of cleanliness and overall presentation of the rooms was excellent. Look forward to staying here again.
Genuinely lovely manager who rescued a stranger stranded in Akaroa without a ride back to Christchurch. Given that the staff directly reflects the care and quality of the property, the business has rightfully earned a prestigious gold ranking. We loved our recent stay! I will definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to stay again. We had a waterfront ground floor apartment and it was such a cool spot. We felt very welcome and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The unit was clean and had everything we needed at an affordable price.
