We were very pleased with our stay. The service is amazing, the staff were very accommodating. They provide the yukatas, towels, and probably everything you might need for the onsens. I believe the hotel was renovated as the photos don’t do it justice - we were pleasantly surprised when we saw it in real life. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed . Highly recommend.

This Hotel was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend staying here. The architecture is gorgeous and very well renovated with love to detail and traditional aesthetic with a minimal modern twist. The mattress and bedding felt like a cloud! We booked the private onsen which was an absolutely wonderful experience. The traditional Japanese breakfast was also very delicious. The cherry on top was the service! Hiro and his colleagues put a lot of effort into every detail to make the stay perfect. Thank you for having us!

We are so sad to leave this place. It is the absolute highlight of our 8 weeks in Japan. Hiro, Sui and the staff are just lovely people. Always ready with a smile and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The facility is tranquil annd relaxing and the amenities are fabulous especially the sauna. We slept with the windows open and the brisk fresh air overlooking the river and the sound of willows in the breeze. We already miss the people and the ryokan and are planning a month long stay next time.
