A very good experience, very affordable prices, the staff are lovely people who are always friendly, and the location is great for the price and location, just a few blocks from the beach and Fifth Avenue.
We were very disappointed. We booked 3 nights at the hotel and were treated very disrespectfully. A room with a rickety double bed, the smelliest bathroom I've ever seen and smelled, dirt everywhere, dirty towels and sheets. In addition, it says on the front door that the reception is open from 10:00, but in reality there was no one there and we were stuck with our equipment. I wanted to cancel and get a refund and the guy at the hotel was very rude and wouldn't let me talk to the hotel manager. I was very disappointed and don't recommend it at all! (We stayed in other places in Playa at better prices and got much more for our money)
