A fairly good, fresh hotel with modern renovations and clean rooms, though not all rooms have a nice view, which is worth considering when booking. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, but it was reasonably clean. The air conditioning system works well. Excellent food, with a small selection of lactose-free products. The beach is clean. There are both free and paid sun loungers. Massage services are available—expensive, but of good quality.

We visited the hotel in 2025 for the first time and it was really nice. The only thing that bothered me was the room cleaning staff barging into our room while we were still asleep, but there was a button for it (do not disturb) so we only had this problem once. The rooms are spacious and clean, bed is comfy. The food was really good, a lot of variety, fruits were delicious and the atmosphere was good. The service is amazing, everypne is really friendly and helpful. The beach is rocky so it is really useful to have water shoes. We personally did not like the sellers coming and suggesting us their services of water sports entertainment, shopping, spa. Some of them were really stubborn and not letting go which annoyed us, it would be nice, if they would wait for the customers to come to them instead of disturbing our peace. This hotel is located in area of mountains, so it is unbelievably stunning! It is worth visiting for its beautiful surroundings alone. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Akka Antedon Hotel, and unfortunately, my overall experience was not as good as expectd, mainly due to the hotel's one-sided cultural focus and some neglected facilities. The biggest downside is that the hotel is clearly dedicated to Russian-speaking guests, which strongly influences the atmosphere. While every guest should feel welcome, the dominance of one cultural group makes others feel out of place. The staff mostly speak Russian, with very limited English, which made communication difficult. This cultural bias becomes especially uncomfortable in the evenings, when loud and outdated Russian pop music takes over the entertainment program — making it hard to relax or enjoy the evening ambiance if you’re not a fan. Another major issue was lack of cleanliness in shared areas. While rooms are renovated and relatively well-kept (this was one of the few positives), common spaces like corridors, lobbies, and restrooms were often not clean, and the overall hygiene didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The lobby in particular felt dated and in need of serious renovation, both in design and maintenance. The food was average at best. There was plenty of it, but the taste and variety left much to be desired. If you're expecting culinary experiences as part of your stay, you may be disappointed. On the positive side, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and lush greenery, which creates a peaceful setting during the day. The renovated rooms are also a plus — modern, comfortable. In summary, Akka Antedon might suit Russian-speaking travelers looking for a familiar cultural bubble abroad, but for international guests seeking a more inclusive and high-standard resort experience, I would not recommend it. With better language diversity, improved cleanliness in common areas, and more neutral entertainment, the hotel could offer much more.
