Akom At Docklands

Well located, clean apartment with stunning views! We booked 2 bedroom 2 bathroom on 9th Floor with beautiful views of Marina and city lights at night. Serena greeted us on arrival (even though we were late) and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist us with any enquiries - including organising twin beds for 2nd bedroom on booking. The apartment was spacious and air conditioned, although we hardly need a/c due to beautifully refreshing breeze on balcony each day! Lovely walk along promenade to a different restaurant every day and night, while still being close to a corner shop, walking distance to Woolies and a free tram into Melb CBD. Perfect! We loved our stay at Akom at Docklands and would highly recommend.

DIRTY CARPETS APARTMENT IS MORE OLDER LOOKING THAN ON PICTURES, pictures are deceptive Also DONT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BOND TAKEN! They will send security out to your room saying there is excessive noise where there is none and charge you for security call out and they will charge you whatever they want, like $250 for a call out, it’s a complete scam We have stayed in so many apartments in melb and never had issues with noise or anything, always get our bond back It’s literally a way to take your money, not worth it

Never staying at this apartment again!! to begin, once we walked in the apartment was not clean at all… there were stains all over the apartment and the bed sheets had yellow stains. The bathrooms had hair in the shower as well as mould in the bathrooms.. The carpets had large brown stains on them and the door didn’t lock properly. Please re consider another apartment if you are wanting to stay here. The reception were not welcoming at all and were rude. This building is definitely in need of a renovation.
