My 3 sons (ages 26, 23 and 17) and I recently returned from Greece. Greece is such an incredible country with its beauty-the people, the landscape, the waters, the food. I can't rave enough about it. The highlight of our trip was arriving in Naxos-especially at the Akre hotel-after a long day of travels from Toronto via Athens. Akre hotel is an oasis, a haven and such a soft serene landing space. Eleni-the hotel manager-made my entire trip to Greece (not just Naxos) such an incredible and unforgettable experience for all of us. She is an exceptional human and I can't say enough good things about her. A generous, extremely hospitable and genuine soul. We created core memories in Greece and can't wait to return time and time again. Naxos and Akre hotel holds a very special place in our hearts. Our favourite stay on Naxos! Went far beyond our expectations! We were greeted warmly by the staff, and throughout our stay were super friendly and helpful. Eleni, the owner, was very accommodating - she went above and beyond for us and made us feel very special! Christos was lovely too! The hotel and property around was stunning. The private beach was so peaceful and the views from the hotel are out of this world. The restaurant, which also serves the breakfast each morning was very good and the service was very attentive. Would love to stay here again!

Another big plus: the hotel is perfectly located. It’s close to the city and just a short drive from the airport, making it easy to reach while still feeling like a peaceful retreat away from it all. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, enjoying great food, and soaking in the calm, beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect escape – serene, inspiring, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that offers more than just a room – a place where you can truly disconnect, recharge, and be surrounded by natural beauty and genuine hospitality – this is it. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return.
