Aktiv Hotel Edelweiss

On my way cycling towards Bhutan I, by coincidence, ended up in this hotel. Also on my way back to the Netherlands, I made a detour… just to see the people of this hotel whom have been nothing short than amazing. Not only are they kindhearted, welcome and hospitable, they also have the whole infrastructure for taking good care of your bicycle. I can recommend this place to anyone who either wants to completely relax or who wants an active holiday. It’s paradise.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and quite huge. Spa is really great, especially the view over lake Reschen. Food was also good. Breakfast has everything you might desire.

We LOVE this hotel and this town. We stumbled on this town through Google Maps and found this hotel online accidentally. The second we walked in, a very charming gal greeted us and checked us in right away. She was very happy and interested in our journey from the states. The hotel is clean and SO tidy. Our room was equally clean and tidy. Bed's were quite comfortable, shower pressure is wonderful and the whole room is very classy. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the overlook balcony and we were just taken back by the views and the beautiful patio. We later enjoyed the hot tub and relaxation room and met some very fine folks there. Dinner was SPECTACULAR. We had a table with our name on it waiting for us. 4 course meal! Superb! The town of Resia is a hidden gem, we will be back for Mountain Biking. The staff was SO accommodating the whole time. My husband locked his room key in the room SUPER early in the morning and even the cleaning staff went out of her way to help him get back in... and was very patient with him. Such a sweet gal! Breakfast was delightful and the checkout process, they gave me a little unique jar of cooking salts they use. The only hotel to give us a parting gift! We will 110% be back! I'm working to get all of my girlfriends back for the mountain biking trip. Great town, fantastic hotel.
