Aktivhotel Truyenhof

Our experience on our recent vacation at Hotel Truyenhof was truly exceeding our expectations. Most friendly welcome, excellent service throughout the whole hotel, brilliant food (breakfast, snacks and dinner), clean and modern rooms - all located within one of the most beautiful areas of the alps in Austria. We definitely will come again!

First off, the staff here are all really friendly and go above and beyond. The place has so many nice touches such as a free snack buffet in the afternoons with self serve ice cream, yoghurt, fruit, etc, backpacks in your room to take hiking, nice canvas bags with pool towels to take down to the pool, little snacks and drinks in the spa area, etc. The food is pretty good too, and they have a little area with cling film and paper bags at breakfast in case you want to make a packed lunch. The place is spotlessly clean with very hard working cleaning staff all day, and the views are very nice. It was also a plus that I could get there easily with public transport as I don’t have a car (oh and did I mention they include a bus pass with your stay). Overall, this is an excellent place to hide away from the world for a little bit. The only note of feedback I’d give is they use “all in one” body wash, shampoo and hand soap in the bathrooms, which detracts a bit from the luxury feel, but that’s hardly a real fault.
