Al Anvar Hotel

My go-to hotel in Tashkent. Location is convenient. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and meet international standards. Staff is professional. Breakfast is plenty and good. Therr are supermarkets and small groceries around. And plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood.

My stay at Al Anvar Hotel was marked by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Every team member I interacted with was not only courteous and welcoming but also spoke fluent English, which made communication seamless and pleasant. One point of consideration for future guests: the hotel has recently adopted a payment system that only accepts cards requiring a PIN. As a result, most American credit cards without PIN functionality may not be accepted. I encountered this issue during my stay, but I am deeply grateful to the hotel manager, who worked diligently to find a solution. Ultimately, I was able to assist by covering a hotel grocery expense using my card, and in a generous gesture of appreciation, the hotel provided a complimentary fruit platter. Their flexibility and thoughtfulness were greatly appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My only suggestion would be to provide larger pillows for enhanced comfort. Additionally, guests should note that although the top floor is labeled as a lounge or terrace, it was nonexistent. Overall, Al Anvar Hotel offers warm service and a pleasant stay, and I would gladly return — particularly with updated awareness of the payment situation.

Room was not big but its clean. Hotel has only one lift so it's very slow especially with tour group. Breakfast was good though. The road in front of hotel is narrow so tour bus is difficult to go in. Hotel is near supermarket.
