Al Bustan Palace a Ritz Carlton Hotel

We truly loved the resort — not only for its beautiful and classy ambiance, but also for the impeccable service that made us feel genuinely valued. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with a level of care and attention that reflects true VIP hospitality. Every corner of the property radiates elegance and refinement. The staff were professional, attentive, and consistently gracious. A special word of thanks goes to Ms. Maria, the resort manager, whose leadership and personal touch elevated the entire experience. She ensured that every detail was handled seamlessly and that we felt cared for throughout our stay. This resort has earned our loyalty. It offers the perfect balance of luxury, warmth, and high-standard service — a place we will gladly return to and recommend with full confidence.

The stay was amazing. The place was very quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The booking included free access to the family beach, pool, a small kids water park, and also a ladies beach. Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of food from different regions to suit all tastes. There are also small convenience shops on-site, which was very handy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. I really appreciated the welcoming gesture of coffee and dates upon arrival. The only downside is that the hotel is located about 30 minutes away from the center of Muscat, so taxi rides can be a bit pricey.

Been to Ritz-Carlton properties around the world and always had exceptional service — until my stay at Ritz-Carlton Muscat. Unfortunately, my first and last experience at Ritz-Carlton Muscat was disappointing. Despite paying for two sea-view rooms for four guests, we arrived at 2AM to find we were “upgraded” to a pool view — which we never requested. No welcome drink, no hospitality, and a 40-minute wait to get our rooms. Rooms were prepared for only one guest — one towel, one slipper, one toothbrush — despite our confirmed booking. Basic amenities like towels and robes weren’t replaced unless we asked, and even room service included a used mustard container. We also never received the cake we were promised as an apology. You don’t get your full rights or amenities here unless you ask for them, which is not what you’d expect from the Ritz-Carlton brand. Only the Omani staff showed true professionalism and care — they were the highlight of our stay. But overall, the service here needs a serious reset.
