We had exceptional moments and fantastic stay at Al Maaden villa hotel. The villa was perfect, clean and quiet. The stuff was very professional and very friendly. Well recommended for couple, family and kids. I will return definitely soon. Thanks for the warm welcome.

We had an amazing time. Our riad was beautiful and a lot of space. Our 2 kids had the time of their life in our private pool. The staff was very kind and friendly. The riad was clean. I can recommend it if you want an amazing private time and quiet and still close to the center of Marrakech.

A Weekend Ruined — A 5-Star Hotel in NAME ONLY ! We booked a two-night stay in a villa for four people, expecting a relaxing family weekend in Marrakech. Unfortunately, our experience turned into a complete disaster. Knowing we had family living in Marrakech, we planned a simple lunch and dinner around the villa pool with a few relatives — without any overnight guests. To our shock, the hotel staff abruptly informed us at reception that all external visitors were strictly forbidden, even with the presence and agreement of the registered villa guests. We calmly explained our intentions to management, clarified that our guests were not staying overnight, and pointed out that nowhere in the hotel’s policies — online, at booking, or physically displayed — was this restriction mentioned. Despite this, management remained inflexible and dismissive, completely ignoring both logic and customer service. Feeling humiliated and deeply disappointed, we decided to cut our stay short after just one night and requested a refund for the unused night. To make matters worse, the hotel flatly refused any form of reimbursement. The disappointment didn’t stop there. The villa itself was in an appalling state: • The villa reeked of sewage. • We found dead cockroaches and ants in the rooms — unacceptable at any level of hospitality. • The electric heater was completely rusted and corroded — a disgrace in a so-called luxury property. As if this wasn’t enough, the staff at the Reception were unpleasant. Our invited family members were treated like intruders — followed by security guards and forced to remain in the parking lot, even after we gave permission as villa residents. The behavior was intrusive, and completely unworthy of any hotel, let alone one claiming five-star status. We will never return and strongly advise anyone seeking genuine hospitality, transparency, or basic cleanliness and respect to stay far away from this establishment. What a shame.
