I want to live at this hotel - everything is special and thoughtfully placed. Wish I’d had more time - don’t sleep on the food here either, this one probably the best meal I had in Egypt. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and good - amazing place.
A perfect 10 out of 10! I was hesitant at first, wondering if the photos would match reality, and I’m glad to say my expectations were fully met. The hotel looks just like in the pictures. It feels as if time has stood still here since the early 20th century: antique interiors, books available for reading, grand high arches, and spacious halls – truly an oasis in the midst of bustling, crowded Egypt. The rooms are cleaned regularly, and all bathroom fixtures are spotless—almost as if they were just installed. There is no intrusive music, neither in the restaurants nor by the pool—this place is designed for escaping the hustle and bustle of the world and giving your mind a break from constant thoughts. It makes you want to lounge by the pool all day, reading books. The hotel grounds invite you to take peaceful walks through the inner garden and the herb garden, where various plants are grown. The staff is incredibly attentive and courteous. The attention to detail from the hotel's designer is truly impressive—it feels like every little thing has been carefully thought out. This hotel is worth every penny. I will definitely return.
We had lunch at Almoudira the hotel is amazing very well thought out. The Bazar has unique pieces and the food was an interesting take on Egyptian dishes. But the vibe was off as it felt there was so many staff doing renovations. And the restaurant staff weren’t the friendliest people.
