Just don't do it it is terrible and the location is not for a family holiday at all - ditch it and go into Cairo somewhere like Ramses Hilton you will be kicking yourself if you book this flee infested MOTEL 6 at best!
Got an old room- mouldy and had a view on a shabby building. I asked for a room change but my request was denied even if the guy who served me at the reception said there were two rooms available when I first came. Once I got in the first room and didn’t like it, he said the other wasn’t available anymore. The room had no towels but I got them when I phoned the office. It also had no tissues or a mini fridge or water. The AC was constantly rumbling and asked for adjustment but the attempt wasn’t successful. I had to turn it off. The room was not insulated as noise kept coming from other ACs. It looked like it was located at the back of the hotel. Internet didn’t work in the room and when I question that, I was told that it only works in the lobby! Neither the pillows nor any of the mattresses were soft enough for a comfy sleep. I woke up with pain in the neck and the back. As to breakfast, it had instant coffee in small sachets and black tea bags only! Not fresh made! Other types of food were just ok except bread that was exclusively white. Napkins are under request only. After breakfast, I asked for the internet password but there was no chair or sofa to use to make calls or rest. I was told that they are available at night only. I really don’t know why. Some staff talked to me with an attitude. I paid $75 which is too expensive for what I got. Not sure if I can recommend this hotel to someone else coming from the west in particular.
